Hi, I'm Ignacio Farré. I make miniature art on coins and write books about what I learn along the way.

I left school at thirteen and learned a nearly extinct craft: engraving metal by hand. Today my miniature works on coins are collected around the world. Along the way I earned my diplomas alone at my kitchen table, became a programmer, rebuilt a ruined house with my own hands… and at forty-four I discovered why I always had to invent my own path: I have aphantasia — my mind cannot form a single mental image. Now I write books about all of it.
